Our time in southern England is incredibly soulful for me. We’ve been visiting with family I’ve not seen for a looooong time as well as meeting new family and family I’ve not met before and it’s filling me right up with joy and connection and a sense of belonging. It has also provided Aelie with some awesome and much needed playmates.
I really wish we lived closer!
We been treated to multiple meals, birthday presents and celebrations for Aelie, a concert featuring 90s pop star, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, lovely walks and even had a go at clay pigeon shooting (Sim more successfully than me!).
We’ve also visited more stunning landscapes, lovely gardens and gorgeous little English towns and Sim has nearly mastered driving on country roads, just in time to give the hire car back!
Here are some photo highlights.

Uncle Pete and Kathy in Taunton treated Aelie to a wonderful birthday, complete with lunch, cake and a concert featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor! Loved seeing Tom, Arthur, Milo, Danion, Ellie, Steve, Julie, Alice and Grace during this visit but I managed to miss taking photos of them all! |
